Bobby Gene Brooks passed away on February 20, 2025 with his loving family by his side.

Bobby was born in Batesville, Georgia on November 22, 1934 to the late William Robert Brooks and the late Lona Mae Allen Brooks. Bobby spent his days working as a cattle and chicken farmer. He also owned and operated a campground.

In his free time, Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time on his farm.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his spouse, Clara Ruth Brown Brooks; and brothers, J.R. Brooks and Hoyt Brooks.

Bobby is survived by his children, Aubrey Hoyt Brooks and Allen Gil Brooks; sisters, Louise Brooks Tatum, Wanda Brooks York, and June Brooks Tremmel; and grandchild, Kayla Alisha Brooks

There will be a receiving of family and friends 6:00pm-8:00pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Beck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm on Sunday, February 23, 2025 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
