Buster Brown Hunnicutt of Otto, North Carolina passed away on August 28, 2024.
Buster was born December 30, 1935 to the late Jable Theodore Hunnicutt and late Corrie Eller Hunnicutt. Buster spent his days working as a truck driver for Roadway.
Buster enjoyed traveling. He was a people person and never met a stranger. Buster was proud of his military service, totaling 23 years. Throughout his career in the military, he served in the US Army, Navy SEA Bee’s, and National Guard.
In addition to his parents, Buster is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Geraldine (Norris) Hunnicutt; and siblings, Louis Hunnicutt, Russell Hunnicutt, Ted Hunnicutt, Lena Gragg, Loraine Meyer, and Joy Lockaby.
Buster is survived by his daughter, Deborah Justus; siblings, Ed Hunnicutt, and Loura Penland; grandchildren, Little Buster Justus and Jenny Hodgin; and great-grandchildren, Natiley Lee, Cheyenne Rutland, and Braylen Falkner.
A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel.
