Carol Head Pless of Carnesville, Georgia passed away October 29, 2024.
Carol was born September 9, 1953 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Jack Head and late Marie Brown Head. She spent her working days as a housekeeper in Black Rock Mountain State Park.
Carol loved telling people about Jesus. She found joy in playing guitar and singing, but her biggest passion was showering her family with love, especially her grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Pless; siblings, Bill Head, Jody Head, and Ann Deering; and step-son, Roy Pless.
Carol is survived by her son, Shane Watts (Sunshine) and his children, John Michael Watts (Katie Beth), Jesse Watts (Dakota), Jacob Watts (Karsen); step-children, Peggy OKelly, Karen Gaines (Kevin), and Anthony Pless (Wanda); siblings, Jim Head (Ann) and Trisha Hans; grandchildren, Courteney Fulbright (Hunter), Logan Pless (Selena), Samantha Hill (Andrew), Nicole Saylor (Jamie), AJ Pless, Kimberly Head (Scooter), Preston Espinoza (Hannah), Kiara Espinoza, April Allen, Josh Allen, Nathan Allen, and John Allen; as well as many great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 1:00pm-2:30pm on Sunday November 3, 2024 at Beck Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at 3:15pm on Sunday November 3, 2024 at Hale Ridge Cemetery.
