Clare Ray Little, age 94, of Tiger, Georgia, passed away on July 30, 2020.
Ray was born the son of the late Oscar Little and the late Lucy McMath Little on February 25, 1926. Ray was a veteran and served his country proudly during World War II. He was a Navy radioman and was at Hiroshima Bay the day of the bombing. He was an avid tennis player. He enjoyed boating, motorcycling and loving his family. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling the United States and Canada with them. He trained guard dogs, and loved animals of all kinds. He loved dearly his wife, Maureen with all his heart and soul through their 59 years of marriage.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Little; two sisters.
His survivors include his wife, Maureen E. Little; one son, Clare Ray Little; Three daughters, Sherry Miller, Cathy Chun, Coleen E. Little, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ray’s memory to the Veterans Administration Atlanta VA Voluntary Service 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 3003.
