Daniel Lee Callenback, affectionately known as “Daniel Boone” by all who knew him 54 years of age passed November 19, 2022.

Daniel was born in Rabun County, Georgia the son of the late Jesse Carlton Callenback and the late Sarah Ruthalee Watts Callenback. Daniel was a lifelong resident of Rabun County. He loved fishing, and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing cards and visiting friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to help people. He worked at Wal-Mart for number of years. He enjoyed working on small engines.

In addition to his parents Daniel was preceded in death by a sister, Reba Joyce Callenback.

Daniel is survived by three sisters, Marie Rich of Blairsville, GA, Christine Callenback of Clayton, GA, Brenda Fleming of Blairsville, GA; one brother, Robbie Keener of Long Creek, SC.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home Saturday November 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Carver officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
