David O’Neal Clayborne entered his heavenly home January 5, 2025. He was a man of faith living a godly life while being a man of prayer.

He loved his wife and his forever family. He was a member of Clayton Baptist Church.

He was born in Tupelo, MS on January 7, 1947 to the late Henry Curtis & Elizabeth Clayborne.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Curtis & Elizabeth Clayborne, as well as his brother, Jerry.

David leaves his wife, Wanda; sister, Betty Custance of New Jersey; and three nieces.

After a lifelong career in Law Enforcement for State of Mississippi, he retired to Rabun County GA. He often remarked that he felt he had come home when he moved to Rabun County.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor the life of David at 2:00pm on January 23, 2025 in the Ministry Activity Center at Clayton Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clayton Baptist Church, 87 S Church St, Clayton, GA 30525.
