Dover “Beadie” Nathan Welch, age 81, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on January 28, 2022. He was born May 5, 1940 the son of the late Bill and Laura McCloud Welch. He was also preceded in death by five brothers J.B. Welch, FD Welch, Red Welch, Wayne Welch, and Kenneth Welch, two sisters Marie Woods, and Frankie Mae Welch

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Welch mother of his son Nathan Welch (Shoshanna) of Jefferson GA., and Ellen Welch Miller mother of  his daughters  Peanut Welch Kilby (Rodney) of Clayton, Ga., Punkin Welch Darnell of Clayton GA., and sons Tony Welch (Christine) of Clayton, Ga., Bill Welch (Connie) of Clayton, Ga., and three sisters Elise Eller of Cartersville, Ga.,  Sarah Jean Harrison of Lakemont, Ga., and Cynthia Welch of Clayton, Ga., nineteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving companion Molly the Boston Terrier.

Beadie loved his family and having family get together’s and keeping in touch with his friends. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was an avid guitar player, love traveling across the country on his motorcycle, and was a pilot. He was a business owner and operated heavy equipment. He enjoyed going out to eat. He also enjoyed collecting a lot of speeding tickets.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday February 1, 2022 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm. A private graveside will be held at a later date. The family will be receiving friends at  442 Leafwood Lane in Clayton, Ga.
