Elizabeth Marie Caudell Watts, age 68, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away February 5, 2024.

Marie was born August 17, 1955, in Rabun County, to the late Marcus Caudell and late Myrtle Craig Caudell. She entered the world as the youngest of seven siblings. Marie spent her days working as a clerk for the Rabun County Health Department.

Marie was a loving wife and mother, as well as a devoted member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, auctions, fishing and traveling. Marie had a passion for helping others and the most important thing to her was her family. She enjoyed every moment spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by siblings Mary Wilmot and Jean Keener.

Marie is survived by her husband, James Watts; children, Keith Watts (Liz) and Jamie Watts Ansley (Charlie); siblings, Sam Caudell (Ann), Betty Davis (Allen), Rena Blackwell (Dan), and Beverly Miller (Lex); grandchildren, Will Humphries (Kailen), Landon Watts, Ashley Sisavath (Alex), Justin Ansley, C.J. Ansley, and Mea Ansley; and great-grandchildren, Sawyer Humphries, Ariel Sisavath, Aaliyah Sisavath, and Niya Sisavath.

A visitation will be held 6:00pm-8:00pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Beck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held to honor the life of Marie 2:00pm Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Battle Branch Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery.
