Francis "Frank" Patrick Hanrahan

Francis “Frank” Patrick Hanrahan, of Rabun Gap, GA passed away on July 31, 2023.

Frank was born on October 23, 1964 in Manhattan, New York to the late Francis Patrick Hanrahan Sr. and the late Anne Marie Hanrahan. He made the move to Rabun County in May of 1993 and became well known in his community for being the friendly face of the Ingles frozen section and was never too busy to stop and chat.

Frank had many outside hobbies that he enjoyed such as picking herbs, chopping wood and going for walks. When he wasn’t outside, you could find him playing Scrabble, watching baseball and listening to Classic Rock, all while spending time with his cat, Phoebe. Frank always looked forward to meals made by his loving wife of 32 years.

In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Hanrahan.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mona Andrews Hanrahan of Rabun Gap, and siblings Tommy Hanrahan and Collen Hanrahan.

There was a Candlelight Service to honor Frank on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 6:45pm on the North End of the Ingles Parking Lot.
