Frank Delano James, of Tiger passed away on July 31, 2024.

Frank was born February 18, 1936 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Marlor Dank James and late Elina Mae James. Frank spent his working days as a convenience store owner.

Frank coached little league basketball for many years. He was very involved in the community, a business owner in Rabun and Dalton, as well as a member at Clayton Baptist Church. Frank was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to many and loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs play.

In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Maudene York James; brothers, Claude James, DM James, Red James, and Bill James; sisters, Helen Cash, Mable Roy, and Betty McClain.

Frank is survived by his children, Tracy Dixon (Scott), Jody Cannon Farley (Gary), Frank James Jr. (Morgan), Brett James (Susanna), and Joni Bates (Tim); grandchildren, Caleb Dixon (Rachel), Tucker Dixon (Jocelyn), Anna Dixon Sperin (Ian), Jordan Farley, Taylor Farley, Conner James (Taylor), Faith James, Elizabeth James, Caitlyn James, Drew Bates; great-grandchildren, Aiden Dixon, Harper Dixon, Nora Sperin, Callahan Sperin, Brantley Schackleford, John Thomas James, and Miller Grace James.

A visitation will be held 4:00pm-7:00pm Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Beck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Clayton Baptist Church with internment following in Clayton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mountain View Health and Rehab Activities Department. Donations can be mailed to 547 Warwoman Road, Clayton, Georgia 30525.
