Frank Aaron Ritchie

Frank Aaron Ritchie, age 87, of Clayton, Georgia passed away September 1, 2023. Frank was born in Tiger, Georgia the son of the late Noah Lee Ritchie and the late Essie Stancil Ritchie.

Frank was a lifelong resident of Rabun County and married his sweetheart Barbara Jean Rogers Ritchie and doted on her until her passing in 2017. Family was important to Frank; he cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He was always a great provider for his family with his strong work ethic. He was a strong believer in hard work. He worked for Burlington Industries for many years and after retirement he went to work for the City of Clayton until his second retirement. Frank enjoyed people, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Frank is survived by his son, Dennis Ritchie (Karen); daughter Gayla Ritchie Gibson (Horace); three grandsons, Sterling Gibson (Kaitlin), Tyler Gibson (Cari), Aksel Ritchie; one granddaughter, Reagan Ritchie; on great-granddaughter, Turner Jane Gibson; one special sister, Mae Ritchie and one special cousin, Jesse Stancil.

The family will receive friends Sunday September 3, 2023, at Beck Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home Monday September 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park Cemetery.
