Monna Gail Brooks Ramey, age 83, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on February 8, 2024.

Gail was born in Fulton County, Georgia on January 29, 1941, to the late Lewis C. Brooks and late Betty A. Martin Brooks. She made a living as a cosmetologist.

Gail was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. She served as president for the Jaycees as well as a state officer.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Brooks; and daughters Julie Teague and Donna Burrell.

Gail is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bobby K. Ramey; sisters, Penny Pirkle (Richard) and Jan German; children, Sean Ramey (Janice), Dena Crane (Dan), and Taylor Ramey (Jill); 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends 12:00pm-2:00pm on February 9, 2024 at Beck Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00pm in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel. After the service, interment will take place at Pickett Cemetery in Clayton, Georgia.
