Grover Melvin Stevenson Obituary

Grover Melvin Stevenson, 55, of Clayton, Ga passed away after an illness.


Melvin was the son of Francis Smith, and the late Steve Stevenson. He graduated from Rabun County High school the class of 1988. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast; he enjoyed riding and working on them. He enjoyed the outdoors Hunting, Fishing and camping. He got a degree in HVAC and worked in the field for many years. He was hard headed and stubborn but most of all he loved his family and spent as much time as possible with them.


In addition to his mother Melvin is survived by his wife, Cindy Stevenson; daughter, Kieva Duffield (Joel) of Mountain City; three bonus, Juston Laymon (Tonya), Robert Laymon, Brandon Laymon; one brother Andy Stevenson; two sisters, Susan Stevenson, Keisha Sanders (Eli) a number of Grandchildren also survived.


The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
