Helen Crayton McDowell Wall Key, age 94, of Clayton, Georgia passed from this life to her heavenly home on May 9, 2022.

She was born August 5, 1927 the daughter of the late Dave McDowell and Martha Dockins McDowell of Clayton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave McDowell and Martha Dockins McDowell Bleckley; son, William Jesse Key, Clayton, Georgia; Son-in-law, John B. Harp, Jr., Fayetteville, Georgia and step-father, Edward Bleckley, Toccoa, Georgia.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Jean Harp, Fayetteville, Georgia; Doris Ann Wall, Clayton, Ga., Brenda Jo Giles (Glenn) Clayton, Ga., grandson Darrin Giles (Amy) Clayton, Ga., two great grandsons Jarret Giles and Reid Giles, Clayton, Ga., Sisters Frankie Rose (Jerry) Toccoa, Ga., Joanne Davis (Johnny) Rome, Ga., Judy Moore (Henry) Toccoa, Ga., one brother Wayne Bleckley Toccoa, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Blue Heights Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Friday May 13, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am, with a Funeral service to follow at 11:00am in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickett Cemetery in Clayton, Ga.
