Jackie Lee Buchanan, age 51, of Rabun Gap, Georgia passed away on January 30, 2022. He was born March 8, 1970 the son of Mary Lou Vinson and the late Jack Buchanan. He was also preceded in death by Millard and Shirley Buchanan, and Gertrude Ledford.

In addition to his mother Jackie is survived by Wayne Vinson of Rabun Gap, Georgia., son Jackie Lee Buchanan Jr. of Clayton, Georgia., sister Michelle Brewer (Ronnie Joe Brewer) of Clayton, Ga., brother John L. Buchanan (Robin) of Rabun Gap, Ga., aunts and uncles Joe (Wanda) Buchanan of Rabun Gap, Ga., Phillip (Carolyn) Roberson of  Otto N.C., Tommy (Emma) Chastain of Rabun Gap, Ga., Earl (Shelby) Buchanan of Waynesville, N.C., Linda Ledford of Rabun Gap, Ga., and also many cousins.

He worked as a Construction worker for many years in Rabun Gap, Ga. and in San Antonio Texas. He lived his life on his own terms. He will truly be missed by his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wolffork Baptist Church on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Rogers officiating.
