James Bentley Cannon, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on October 25, 2025.

Born and raised in Clayton, James was the beloved son of Larry Earl Cannon and Faye Kelly Cannon. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Earl Cannon, and his nephew, Nathan Webb.

James is survived by his mother, Faye Kelly Cannon; his son, Andrew Floyd (Tiffany Anderson); and his grandson, Tommy Gunner Floyd. He is also survived by his siblings, Kurt Cannon, Lance Cannon (Cindy), and Leah Cannon (Kenneth), along with many nieces and nephews.

James was an outdoorsman at heart who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He treasured his conversations with his son and had a lifelong love for wrestling and football. When he was in high school, James became a state champion wrestler which was a testament to his determination and competitive spirit.
