Janie Chandler Wires, age 79, of Tiger, Georgia passed away on February 20, 2022.
Janie was born the daughter of the late John Chandler, Jr. and the late Jane Elizabeth Chandler on February 12, 1943. In her professional life she worked in Evans, Georgia as a high school teacher of United States Government. She loved antiques, working in the yard tending her flowers, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, one sister, JoAnna Chandler, preceded her in death.
Her survivors include her loving husband, Ed Wires, of the home; her two daughters, Amy Kosh (Kevin), of North Augusta, SC, Janie Gray Wallace, of Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Amelia Azar, of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Chandler Kosh, Logan Kosh and Zack Wallace.
Interment will be held at the Westover Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Georgia.
