Justin Corey Bowen

Mr. Justin Corey Bowen, age 34 of Scenic Drive Toccoa passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Rabun County, Georgia at the home of his brother.

A son of Brenda Carole Loggins Hicks and the late William Clarence “Bud” Bowen, he was born August 27, 1988 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He had worked at Alexander’s Florist in Toccoa, was a volunteer with the Oconee County Animal Shelter and the Soda Fountain Restaurant in Clayton, Georgia.  He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.  He loved his family and friends, loved being outdoors and loved fishing.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eula and Clarence Chastain, Mary Ruth Bowen, Col. Hoyt Bowen, Thomas Donald Loggins and Mary Lee Loggins.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Carole Loggins Hicks of Toccoa; brother, Jason Bowen of Toccoa; step-brother, Michael Franklin of Seneca, South Carolina; step-father, David Franklin of Seneca, South Carolina; two nieces, Jennie Grace Bowen and Harper Mae Bowen; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 12, 2023, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral with The Reverend Teddy King and The Reverend Roger Loggins officiating.
