Kenneth Gordon Watts, age 74, passed away on January 5, 2026.
Kenneth was born August 12, 1951 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Clois Gordon Watts and late Naomi Irene Welch Watts. Kenneth attended Rabun County High School where he played football. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served from 1971 until 1975 and spent time in Alaska, Montana, and Germany. In 1974, Kenneth married the love of his life, Kathryn S. Munger Watts. After his time in the military, he worked in the fields in North Dakota during the oil boom. Kenneth earned his Electrical Technician Certificate and worked as a Carding Technician at the Hanes factory.
Kenneth liked spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He enjoyed living and being outdoors in Montana and North Dakota. He built many houses and took pride in the quality of his work. Kenneth loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his siblings, Bo Watts, David Watts, Ronnie Watts, and Betty Jo Lovell.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathy Watts; and several nieces and nephews.
