Larry Guzman Obituary

Larry Herrera Guzman, age 64, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on December 21, 2020.

 

Larry was born the son of the late Juan Guzman and the late Erlinda Herrera Guzman on July 2, 1956. In his professional life he worked as a minister for the Salvation Army, for many years. He was an accomplished musician, playing both tuba and guitar, and always enjoyed music. He was always an advocate for the gospel and witnessed to everyone that he could, and he always wanted everyone to be saved. He always told others “I love you with all my heart, in the name of Jesus.”

 

In addition to his parents, one daughter, Angela Christine Guzman; one brother, Roman Alvarado, preceded him in death.

 

His survivors include his loving wife, Susan Crane Guzman, of the home; two sons, Matthew Alan Guzman (Chantell Rodriguez) and John David Guzman, both of Clayton; one brother, Johnny Fred Guzman, of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Diane Newsome, of Orlando, Florida and Linda Martinez, of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Illianna Guzman and Bjorn Guzman, also survive him.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
