Margie Moore Conner age 82, passed away August 8, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Earl and Mary Dockins Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Cliff Conner, sons Patrick Moore, and Vince Johnson, brother Lee Moore, sister Lucille Chandler, Janine Paradise and Lelia Hancock.

 

She is survived by daughter in law Jennifer Johnson, sister Martha Scruggs (Jim), grandchildren Brent (Claudia), Seth, Jessica, Chris, Emily, Kagen, Corbin, and many great grandchildren.

 

Margie was a member of Chechero Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors fishing, and spending time working in her garden. In her earlier years, she loved to square dance with her husband Cliff.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Cliff and Margie had a blended family and she loved the Conner family as her own. She had a beautiful voice and loved using it by singing in the church choir. Margie made many friends over her working career. She always enjoyed running into her friends and catching up.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday August 11, 2025 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Chechero Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wilson and Mark Beck officiating.

 

The family would like to thank family hospice and all of her caregivers Shaconda, Brandi, Christine, Jamie, Lori and special friends David and Holly Keener.
