Michael Marsengill Obituary

Michael Allen Marsengill, 72, of Lakemont, Georgia passed away August 6, 2020 at North East Georgia Medical Center.

 

Michael was born in Clayton, Georgia the son of Gladys Thomas Marsengill and the late B.C. Marsengill. After high school he served his country in the Air Force where he obtained the rank of Sergeant. He moved to the Conyers area where he worked for Mike Hunter Inc. as a manager. After retirement Michael moved back to his beloved Rabun County. He enjoyed Hunting and fishing.

 

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Franklin Keith Marsengill

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Quentin Marsengill of Gulf Shores Alabama; one step daughter Felicia Meehan and one step-granddaughter, Sarah Meehan, both of Daphne, Alabama; two brothers Ronald Marsengill of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Timothy Marsengill of Mt. Airy, Georgia; Partner, Geraldine Spoor of Wiley, Georgia, and her granddaughter, Isabella Bravo; ex wife Dorothy Ann Marsengill of Gulf Shores, Alabama.

 

The family will have a private service due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

 

In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation in memory of Michael Marsengill.
