Oscar Kenneth Walker

Oscar Kenneth Walker, age 68, passed away January 16, 2022.  He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Walker and Mary Early Jennings Walker.

In his professional life, Oscar worked in the construction industry for himself. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Oscar enjoyed being outside and loved to fish. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Jim, Pete and Wayne Walker; one daughter in law, Karen Walker; one great grandchild, Oliphant Rentz.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Renee Walker; his son Cody Walker (Jenny), and their three sons and two daughters; his son, Kenny Walker; his daughter April Jaklitsch (Brandon), and their two sons and one daughter; his daughter LeAnn Walden (Shaun) Vestal, and their seven daughters; his two brothers, Bill Walker and David Walker; his sister, Angel Hale and one great grandson and one great-granddaughter due next month.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 21, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held on Friday January 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Hale officiating.
