Randall "Clay" Bennett Obituary

Randall Clay Bennett, age 68 passed away on July 21, 2025 with his loving family by his side after a 7-year battle with cancer.

Clay was born October 16, 1956 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Forrest Jarvis Bennet and late Josephine Marsengill Bennett. Clay’s working days were spent as a contractor.

In his free time, Clay loved doing wood work. He had a passion for classic cars and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Clay is preceded in death by his brothers, Jarvis Bennett and Steve Bennett.

Clay is survived by the love of his life who he was married to for 48 years, Veeda Bennett; children, Seth Bennett and grandchildren, Laney Dunn and Judson and Gracie Dunn; and Cameron Bennett and wife, Carrie and grandchildren, Mason Beck and Maleigha Beck; siblings, Gary Bennett and Scott Bennett.

A visitation will be held 11:00am-12:00pm Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Mountain City Church of God followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm and a luncheon at 1:00pm.
