Richard John Dunn Jr., age 60, of Tiger, Georgia, passed away on June 21, 2024. He was born in Mahopac, New York, the beloved son of the late Richard J Dunn and the late Marguerite Kalba Dunn.

Richard had a passion for hunting and excelled in cornhole tournaments, embracing the spirit of competition. His competitive nature flourished during his high school and college years, where he distinguished himself in track and field. Richard held a record at Central Gwinnett High School for nearly 40 years. He pursued higher education at West Georgia College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree while participating actively in the college’s track and field team throughout his four years.

Outside of athletics, Richard enjoyed watching both scary and kung fu movies. He was a fervent supporter of Georgia sports teams, with a special devotion to UGA Football.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dunn.

Richard is survived by his son, Kirby Dunn (Linley) of Atlanta, GA; his ex-wife, Amy Dunn of Las Vegas, NV; his sister, Lisa Dunn Taylor (Gary) of Tiger, GA; his brother, Thomas Dunn (Jackie) of Ashland, AL; and a close friend, Kirby Fidler.
