Ronnie Nichols

Ronnie Nichols, age 63, of Clayton, Georgia passed away on January 9, 2022.

Ronnie was born the son of the late J.C Nichols and the late Opal Burrell Nichols on June 11, 1958. In his professional life he was the owner/operator of R&R Feed and Seed and also drove a school bus for the Rabun County School System. He was a Master Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he loved the outdoors. He always enjoyed grilling for the entire family and always enjoyed having a frappachino. He was a loving Father and Grandfather.

His parents preceded him in death.

His survivors include his son, Josh Nichols (Brittney), of Clayton; his daughter, Whitney Nichols Upchurch, of Clayton; two brothers, C.J. Nichols (Burnette) and Jerry Nichols, of Clayton; six sisters, Barbara Ann Arnold (Chuck), Sherrie Sims (Greg), Evdean Nichols, Omajean Turpin (Russell), Christine Gordon (T.J.) , of Clayton and Darlene Gribble (Lonnie), of Franklin; two grandchildren, Ada Nichols and Bentley Upchurch; his nephew, Colby Nichols (LaToya); his niece, Christie Veal (Marty).

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 13, 2022 at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia with Rev. Greg Welborn and Rev. Avery Lawrence officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607.
