Sandra (Sandy) Earlene Wall Tyndall (Pfeiffer) passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 with her children by her side.  Sandy was born on March 22, 1951, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to James Earl and Edna Faye Lyons Wall.  She grew up in Richmond, CA.  She has resided in Rabun County for over 53 years. 

Sandy worked at Clayburne Manufacturing (The Shirt Factory), Lakemont Manufacturing, and Rabun Apparel (Fruit of Loom).  She made many lifelong friends that were like family at her jobs.  Sandy after retirement, loved to volunteer at Rabun County Senior Center, Meals on Wheels.  She volunteered there for many years.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Wayne Pfeiffer and Fred Tyndall.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers Gary Eugene Wall and Larry Bruce Wall, Sr. and a sister Donna Kay Wall Tarver.  She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Sandy is survived by three children Gary Paul Stratton (Chanda), Tiger, GA, Kimberly (Kim) Austin Beck (Dale), Clayton, GA and Michael J. Stratton, Clayton, GA.  She is also survived by her two grandchildren that were the light of her life, granddaughter Aerial D. Austin and grandson Gary Paul (GP) Stratton, II.  She also has one great grandson Oliver Michael Austin.  Sandy is also survived by two special nieces Jennifer Tarver Tipton (Bill) and Megan Tarver Perteet (Rance).  In addition, she is survived by an uncle and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Beck Funeral Home with a funeral service at 12:00pm in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve York officiating. Interment will follow the service at Picket Hill Cemetery with Rev. Scott Cates.
