Thelma Yevon (Green) McClain

Thelma Yevon Green McClain, 63, of Clayton, Georgia passed away May 28, 2022. Thelma was born in Franklin, North Carolina the daughter of the late George Green and the late Dilly Wykle Green.

She was a nursing assistant and worked for KB Home health. Her job gave her the opportunity to do something she loved, help people. She enjoyed crocheting. Thelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren were just that great they were the light of her life. She attended Peoples Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband Monroe McClain of Clayton, Georgia; two sons James McClain (Dana Mckay) of Lakemont, Georgia, Josh McClain (Kayla) of Otto, North Carolina; four brothers, George Green, Howard Green, J.C. Green Ronnie Green; two sisters, Eulene Owens, Lilly Mae Smith; thirteen grandchildren, Kirstin Justus (Geoffrey), Caitlin McClain (Eric), Sarah McClain, Olivia Barnes, Annabelle McClain, Brinkley McClain, Brentley McClain, Benson McClain, Madison McClain, Lexie McClain, Ben McClain, Ruthie McClain, Holden McClain; eight great-grandchildren, Haven McClain, Brayden Justus, Sadie Justus, Laylah McClain, Paisley McClain, Rowan Lyttle, Silas McClain, Dawson Green, a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 4 until 6 pm with a funeral service to follow in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home at 6 PM. There will be no interment service the body will be cremated.
