Varina Gail (Zoellner) Galbreath Obituary

Varina Gail Zoellner Galbreath, age 77 passed away on September 14, 2025. Gail was born February 8, 1948 to the late Earl Zoellner and late Clara Louise Ritchie Zoellner.

Gail was a devoted member of Mountain City Methodist Church. She held her family in roots in Rabun County very close to her heart. She liked to spend her time either in the garden or with her animals. She also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes as well as setting up Christmas villages and other holiday decorations. Gail donated her time to Fayette Youth Protection Home and Stephen Ministry. She also worked as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Michael John Galbreath; and brother, Stanley Earl Zoellner.

Gail is survived by her children, James Galbreath, Bradley Michael Galbreath (Carol), and Traci Lynn Howell (Brian); grandchildren, Jet James Earl Galbreath, Jake Galbreath, Michael Galbreath, Jennifer Lenning (Adam), Austin Howell, Garrett Howell (Katie), and Madison Howell; and great grandchild, Clara Lenning.

A graveside service will be held in Wesley Chapel Cemetery at 11:00am on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
