William Wallace Watts Obituary

William “Bill” Wallace Watts passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2023.  He was born December 29, 1951 to the late Kelton Columbus Watts and Ida Lucy Gibson Watts.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife; Janice Guffie Watts in 2009; son, Keith Watts; brother, Jimmy Watts; sisters, Shirley Welborn and Evelyn Watts.

Bill loved to travel with his companion of 13 years, loved classic cars and cars shows, loved the mountains where his home was. He was a happy soul, who enjoyed people.  He was a loving father, grandfather and he loved eating out with his family.

He is survived by his companion of 13 years Jeanette Nichols Beck, sons, William Watts (Renee) Mt. Airy, GA, Sam Watts (Clair) Mountain Rest, SC, Hank Rogers, Franklin, NC; daughters, Sonya Watts, Franklin, NC, Rhonda Edmonds, Toccoa, GA; brothers, Joe Watts (Kathy) Clarksville, GA; sisters, Janice Edmondson (Frank) Clayton, GA, Joyce Ramey, Clayton, GA, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday June 3, 2023 at Beck Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A service will be held at Beck Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Oliver Rice and Rev. Jim McGahee officiating.  Graveside service will be at Rocky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Tiger, GA following the service with Tim Holcomb officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beck Funeral Home, 898 Highway 441 South, Clayton, GA for funeral expenses.

The family will be at their respective homes.
