My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family, especially Irene and Becky, who I had the pleasure of being acquainted with for many wonderful years.  You both were truly wonderful daughters to a lovely lady.  My love to you both.

Matt and Irene and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss; your mother was certainly a loving mother, wife, and grandmother and a very vital part of our Rabun County community.  I have many fond memories of both her and Knox and am thinking of all of you at this difficult time.

To the Bynum family, I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God promises soon to end all pain and suffering (Revelation 21:4). But until then, I hope the memories of Armede and these promises give you peace and comfort. My condolences to the family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was one of the first people I met when I moved up here. We spent several afternoons riding around looking at houses. After meeting her I knew I had come to the right place. I know she struggled the last few years. I hope you find comfort knowing she can rest now.

So sorry to know Armeade is not with us still.  She and I made many good memories together playing bridge and just talking.  Sorry I will not be with you for her services, I am in Denver with grandchildren.86

My heart goes out to all of you. I'm not a lifelong acquaintance of the family but I spent enough time with Armede a few years ago to get to know several of you. I enjoyed sitting and talking with Armede and watching TV with her and eating ham sandwiches.I have thought about her often. Please know that I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary Alice, Thad, Irene and Becky,
I am so sorry for your loss. It is such a hard thing taking care of a parent and then the loss of them. There are no perfect words for such a loss.
Thankfully, our Lord promises us we will see them again.
Much love to you all.

I was sad to learn the death of Armede. She was a dear precious person and I cannot imagine life without her. The tribute you have written about her life will make her proud, it is so fitting of her life here on earth. I have many fond memories of her through the years. When her family moved to Clayton she lived next door to one of my sisters. Soon after Armede and Knox married, he went to my sister's house and said: Ms. Mattie, what do you think about me marrying the beautiful young lady, Armede? Mattie told him how happy she was for them. My love and prayers will be with each of you during this sad time in your lives.

I am the youngest of 5 children....born to Grover and Lady Clare Bynum. I only met Armede one time....when I was in Clayton. She was such a good hostess and a happy, lively person. I am so glad to have met her. I was struck at how much Knox looked like my brother,
Grover L. Bynum, M.D.

Love to all the family.

Mary, Thad, Irene, Becky and families.  I am so sorry for your loss.

From my earliest memories Armede was a force to be reckoned with, I remember her being the light of the neighborhood when I grew up on Valley Street.

In my school years I remember her as a substitute and always front and center at all of our school activities.

She stood for what was right and she stood for family, sometimes when it wasn't popular.

When friends lose someone they love, I always say to them, I hope your fond memories will hold you tight during this time of grief.  With you all, I know I don't have to say that because there is no doubt you have a lifetime of Armede memories that will carry you forever.

There are people in life that make you smile at the mention of their name... Armede was one of those and I know she will continue to make many of us smile when we think of her.

Bless you all and thank you for sharing your mother with so many of us all these years.
