Our sincere sympathy goes out to all of your family. Coach was a very good person, not only as a teacher, but a godly man which is the most important. He will be missed around the campground. May God bless you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Coach Singleton was a fine man. He modeled all that is missing from our society these days. He was a humble man who never boasted about his service to his country or his college football career. For "Coach" it was all about his students and his players; never himself. Mark Twain was thinking about men like Coach Singleton when he wrote: "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest."

Coach Singleton was a hero to me. He loved God and in his homeroom, we had daily Bible readings and sang a hymn. This I will never forget. He meant so much to so many people. He will be missed. Our family is remembering all of you in our prayers.

My heartfelt condolences on Coach Singleton's passing. I served as Manager of the Wildcats football team for 3 seasons from 1962-64. Coach was responsible for building the character of many young people, including me. He also taught me to touch type, a skill I have used throughout college, career, and retirement. I can still hear his voice: "Fingers curved, wrists low, 8 to 10 inches from the base of the keyboard..."

My prayers to the family.
