This breaks my heart! Haven't had contact with her since she moved to the nursing home. We were classmates and graduated together at Rabun Gap. She asked me to carry the flower for Ronald at the HC memorial service after he died. My heart goes out to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of LaVerne's passing. She was in my graduation class at Rabun Gap and was such a sweet person and friend. We lived a few doors apart on the road to the Dillard House and she would often stop to give me a lift to school. Such memories are not easily forgotten.

I am so very sorry to hear this news of LaVerne. I knew her as a classmate and friend although I hadn't seen her for a few years. I went to see her a couple of times in her mobile home in Alto. I am sure she is saying hello to her friend and classmate Dale Denham in Heaven. May she rest in peace.

My sympathy to the family for the passing of LaVerne. We were classmates at Rabun Gap and played basketball together. She was a very special person who was kind and had a beautiful smile. My prayers are with all of you as you go through this sad time.
