On April 11, 2000, Sam and Fredda Beck opened the doors to Beck Funeral Home with one simple mission: to serve the community they love with dignity and care.
As lifelong residents, Sam and Fredda have always known that "business" in a small town is really about family. For over 25 years, they have walked beside friends, neighbors, and generations of local families during their most difficult moments.
Sam’s dedication began at Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, leading to a lifelong career of service as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Fredda established herself as a pillar of our community at Rabun County Bank for 35 years, all while being a constant helping hand at the funeral home since day one.

Experience matters, but heart matters more. Since 2013, Blake Tanner has been a familiar face and a steady hand for our neighbors here in Rabun County.
As a 2006 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, Blake uses his nearly two decades of expertise as a licensed funeral director and embalmer to guide families through their hardest days with grace, dignity, and respect.
Blake is deeply dedicated to providing the compassionate care your loved ones deserve and walking alongside you when you need it most.

Carrie has been a part of Beck Funeral Home since she was just nine months old! Growing up in the family business, she learned early on what it means to serve our community with grace and compassion.
After graduating from Rabun County High School in 2018, Carrie headed to Mid-America College of Funeral Service to turn her lifelong experience into a professional career. Today, she’s back home in Rabun County, working side-by-side with her dad as a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
Carrie is dedicated to carrying forward the legacy her father began.

He began his journey in the funeral profession in Florida, where he dedicated many years to serving families as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. His extensive experience across multiple facets of the industry makes him an invaluable asset to the families we support.
In 2022, Tim officially joined the Beck Funeral Home family as a Funeral Assistant. While he is a vital part of our local team, he continues to maintain his Florida Funeral Director’s license, staying connected to his professional roots.
Whether he’s assisting behind the scenes or greeting families with a kind word, Tim’s dedication to excellence and compassion shines through every day.

But his commitment to helping others doesn't stop there. Since 2009, Trampes has also served as a Funeral Assistant at Beck Funeral Home, offering compassion and support to local families during their most difficult moments.
Trampes’ unwavering dedication to the people of his hometown is what makes him so special. Whether he’s on the ambulance or assisting at the funeral home, his pride in community service shines through in everything he does.
